Pain is Weakness Leaving The Body

Hey everyone! This week was pretty rad. Though I still havent been feeling all that up to snuff we had a good week ending with the baptism of Zack and Allie Archer two of our investigators. It was a pretty awesome day. They had a lot of family there and their Grandpa got to baptize and confirm them. It was a super cool experience. They both want to go on missions when they grow up and the are both working really hard on helping their Dad get to the font as well. They are super awesome and I am super happy for them both. Other than that not much to report on. Oklahoma has decided to jump into spring early and give is some 70 degree weather which is fantastic. It is so weird to think that last year when I got here it was snowing and cold enough to make a blueberry cow. I love it. I like the winter and all but cold with no snow seems like an oxymoron and I can live without it. This week has been a lot of thinking and pondering on why certain things are going on and what is the Lord trying to teach me through it all. Then yesterday we had a lesson on adversity. It seemed like the main focus of it all was as we go through trials they are to 1 make us humble and 2 help us to become stronger. The Lord knows what we are able to endure and what we can handle and hes not going to give anymore than we can handle without his help. Growth requires pain but Pain can be eased as we turn to the one that has gone through it before Alma 7:11-12 “and he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people. 12 And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.” Christ has been where each of us are before. he has suffered more than any of us and that because He loves us and wants to be able to help us as we go through this life. I love you. Jesus loves you and hope that you have a great week.
