Hey Yall. Still not all too much to tell about this week. Your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated and felt. Please please keep them coming. This weekend we had the fabulous opportunity to meet Elder D Todd Christopherson as he came to Tulsa for some business. There was an undeniable spirit that surrounded this special servant of the Lord and it was a fantastic conference where I got answers to questions I didn’t even know I had and answers I didn’t necessarily want but those are usually the best kind. But the main theme of his talk was on questions. All throughout the scriptures we are told that we knock and it shall be opened and ask and it shall be given to us. The key points in those statements are the verbs. It is shown that we have to make the first move. The door to revelation is there for all of us, but we need the key. That key is a question and faith. 3rd Nephi 14:7-11 says “ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 8 For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, who, if his son ask bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” I can put it no better way. Love you all And hope that you have a blessed week!
” But, behold, the righteous, the saints of the Holy One of Israel, they who havebelieved in the Holy One of Israel, they who have endured the crosses of the world, and despised the shame of it, they shall inherit the kingdom of God, which wasprepared for them from the foundation of the world, and their joy shall be fullforever. ” 2nd Nephi 9:18
